A most pleasant stop for an inexpensive lunch break (open everyday) close to the 12th century church.A warm place & traditional cuisine, simple but perfectly cooked.A good choice between 4 to 5 main courses changing quite often.Many local guests, which is always a good indication.

On Saturday September 7, I had the pleasant surprise, 4 years after my last visit, to find this very friendly, competent and efficient restaurateur couple. The à la carte meal has eclipsed the old all-you-can-eat buffet, all in all respectable, but certainly becoming problematic to manage.This laudable change is accompanied by a move upmarket in starters and dishes. The dishes are well cooked, copious and tasty, the presentation is not ordinary. The dessert menu mentions those that are prepared in-house, this is a commendable and honest approach towards customers. Coming from Sens, there is no point hoping to find better in Troyes, you are likely to be disappointed. The value for money is in favor of the customer. I highly recommend this good address.A visit to the church of Villemaur, famous for its magnificent rood screen, can usefully complete this pleasant stopover.

Small typical country restaurant! Parking at the back of the church.Great discovery. Not too much room left so we ate with a single lady, nice meeting!The super friendly waitress and the chef concerned about our well-being.The prices are fair and the dishes are very good.To be done again without a doubt.Thank you for keeping this good mood during your services!!!!

Passing through, very warm welcome, we can only stop there. The meal from starter to dessert is excellent.
